Rancho Palos Verdes to Hold Low-Cost Pet Clinic

The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29 in the upper picnic area at Hesse Park.

PALOS VERDES, CA -- A low-cost pet clinic will be held in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes at the end of the month to provide vaccinations and microchip services for cats and dogs.

The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29 in the upper picnic area at Hesse Park, 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard. Cats should be brought in between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and dogs from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care will administer the vaccination and provide the microchip services. Cash or credit card will be accepted as payment.

Pet owners must be at least 18 years of age and pets must be on leashes or in carriers. Only healthy, non-pregnant animals will be vaccinated. Owners were urged to bring vaccine records for their pets, if possible. Dogs with a license tag, license renewal notice or prior rabies certificate will be eligible for a three-year rabies vaccine.
