The Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will consider an appeal of a decision to remove one city tree and trim nine along some city streets, in addition to considering recruitment for some vacant positions.

During Tuesday night's meeting, the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will consider directing City Staff to move forward with recruitments for some vacant city positions, including the Director of Public Works position.
Other openings include, Assistant Engineer, Senior Financial Analyst, and Senior IT Analyst. Staff said recruitment for the Public Works Director position is the most "critical."
The Council is also scheduled to consider the appeal of the Planning Commission’s decision to remove one city tree and trim nine city trees along Via Cambron, Via Collado, and Berry Hill Drive that were found to significantly impair the view from four applicants’ properties.
