South Bay Man Shoots, Kills Teenage Son During Argument
The teenage son was in his bedroom when the argument started. The father then pulled out a gun and the two struggled until 1 shot was fired.

A 52-year-old man shot and killed his 18-year-old son during an argument at their Carson home and was arrested, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies said Sunday.
The victim, identified as Jiovanni Lyiscott, was in his bedroom just before 6:16 p.m. Saturday in the 17400 block of Prondall Court when he and his father, Anderson Lyiscott, got into an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation, according to Deputy Mike Barraza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
When the father pulled a firearm, the two men struggled until one round was fired, hitting the victim, Barraza said.

The teenager was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Anderson Lyiscott was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder, Barraza said.

Deputies are continuing their investigation.
