• Feather River Ranger District Prescribed Burning Update (sierradailynews.com) — Prescribed burning on Sawmill Peak and near Concow is producing smoke that may be visible in Paradise, though officials expect no significant long-term impacts. Firefighters are treating about 100 acres and warn of heavier smoke and fire-vehicle traffic on Rim Road, Concow Road, and Highway 70. Paradise residents who are smoke sensitive should monitor conditions and take precautions as needed.
