LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced LA wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice from Southern California Edison for victims of the Eaton Fire. A man who was fatally shot in Pasadena was identified Friday.The shooting near the intersection of Palm Terrace and Claremont Street was reported at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, Pasadena police Lt. John Luna said.James Rucker, 29, of Pasadena died at a hospital, coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.A motive for the shooting was unknown. Police were working to determine if the homicide was related to a shooting Monday night in the 1400 block of El Molino Avenue in which a man in his 20s was shot but survived.Anyone with information on either crime was asked to call Pasadena police at (626) 744-4241.--City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
