Newborn Baby Found Dead In Pasadena Park Restroom

Maintenance workers found the infant in a women's stall, officials said.

PASADENA, CA —A newborn girl was found dead in a stall in a women's restroom at Memorial Park in Pasadena, police said Friday.

Authorities were sent to the park at 85 E. Holly St. about 10 p.m. Thursday after maintenance staff made the discovery, according to the Pasadena Police Department.

"Officers and Pasadena fire paramedics arrived on scene, located and confirmed that the infant was deceased," Pasadena police Lt. Jesse Carrillo said in a statement. "The manner of death remains under investigation at this time. The infant was female and appears to have been of full term."
