With multiple tour times, detailed architectural insights, and a strong focus on preserving Pasadenaโ€™s history, itโ€™s a chance to see familiar streets with fresh eyes.

Pasadena tenants say Hines pulling amenity bait-and-switch (therealdeal.com) โ€” Pasadena Gateway Villas tenants say new owner Hines has sharply raised housing costs by adding hundreds of dollars in monthly amenity fees and hiking rents up to 20 percent at the North Hudson Avenue complex. Residents accuse the firm of skirting Californiaโ€™s rent cap and changing terms with little notice, while Hines says responses to the allegations are forthcoming.

Couple Commits $50M to Caltech's Aerospace Department (mynewsla.com) โ€” A major Pasadena institution just received a transformative boost: Caltechโ€™s aerospace department is getting a $50 million endowment from trustees Lynn Booth and Kent Kresa, who both have deep ties to the Institute and aerospace industry.
