Horry County high school senior to perform in Rose Parade (wmbfnews.com) — Pasadena’s famed Rose Parade will feature Horry County senior John Buie IV marching with the elite Bands of America Honor Band along the 6‑mile route. The Socastee, South Carolina drummer earned his snare spot through a rigorous national audition and has been training for the nonstop Pasadena parade just before the 2026 Rose Bowl.
