Free Health Screenings at Hastings Ranch & La Pintoresca Branch Libraries, Dec 17 & 18 (coloradoboulevard.net) — Free health screenings for hypertension and diabetes are coming to Pasadena’s Hastings Ranch and La Pintoresca branch libraries on December 17 and 18, with no appointments needed. 4. YIMBY Group Sues California Gov. Gavin Newson Over Duplex Ban in Neighborhoods Destroyed by Wildfires (realtor.com) — Pasadena is among the communities that used Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wildfire-related executive order to block SB 9 duplex rebuilds in high-risk fire zones, and that move is now under legal fire.
