A fire at the Pasadena Water and Power plant in Pasadena Tuesday led to pleas from utility officials for power conservation to avert blackouts. Patch has reached out to the South Coast Air Quality Management District to determine the health effects of the smoke released in Tuesday's fire and will update this story when they respond.
