Police To Blanket Pasadena Friday Looking For Traffic Violations
The Pasadena Police Department will be out in force Friday writing traffic tickets and education the public about dangerous driving.

PASADENA, CA —The Pasadena Police Department will be out in force Friday looking for traffic scofflaws.
Officers will be deployed at various locations throughout the city looking for driving violations such as speeding and running red lights that are association with collisions.
"When violations are observed, violators will be cited and/or educated on the safety concerns associated with the violation," according to a statement by the Police Department. "The need for driver education and enforcement is constantly on the rise due to the increase volume of traffic within the City of Pasadena. The Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce, educate the driving public and at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions"
