Program Offers Bike Voucher for Commuters' Travel To and From Transport Station

A FoldNGo bike travels easy on public transport.

Receive a $250 voucher for a Dahon folding bicycle from Incycle in exchange for a pledge to use public transportation at least two times per week. FoldNGo Pasadena launched in October to encourage commuters to use folding bikes for short commutes to and from their neighborhood public transit stations.

“Everyone hates traffic congestion, but many won’t use transit because their home or office is too far from a transit station," Program Director Whitney Pitkanen said. "Folding bikes are a great solution for many. With advances in product design, lightweight folding bikes can be easily carried onto a train or bus and unpacked in less than a minute. These bikes then make it super easy for people to get to and from most transit stations."

To qualify for the program, commuters must live, work or attend college in Pasadena and agree to use their folding bike at least two days per week for transportation to or from a bus or Metro station.
