Prosecutors Drop Case Against Duo In Pasadena Shooting
The case against tow young men accused of shooting a woman outside a Pasadena party has been dismissed.

PASADENA, CA — The case against two men charged with a shooting in Pasadena that left a woman wounded was dismissed Thursday after the prosecution announced it was unable to proceed, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said.
Khy Charles, 22, and Davian Thomas, 23, both of Pasadena, were charged in connection with the shooting, which occurred about 10 p.m. March 3 in a residential neighborhood in the 1200 block of North Los Robles Avenue.
Lt. Jesse Carrillo told the Pasadena Star-News in March that the woman, who is from Las Vegas, was at a gathering outside an apartment complex and that it did not appear that she was the intended target.

A motive for the shooting was unclear.
Charles and Thomas were arrested March 23 by Pasadena police and had remained behind bars since then.

Charles was released from custody Thursday afternoon after the case was dismissed, while Thomas was still behind bars and had a hold from the California Department of Corrections, according to jail records.
