Violence Breaks Out During Halloween Party In Pasadena
One woman was shot in the stomach while another woman was pistol-whipped in her head, Pasadena police said.
PASADENA, CA — One woman was shot in the stomach and another was pistol-whipped when a fight broke out during a Halloween party at a commercial building in Pasadena early Saturday morning.
The shooting was reported about 2:30 a.m. in the 800 block of South Raymond Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Mario Ortiz told City News Service.
"A fight ensued and it led to shots fired," Ortiz said.

A 21-year-old woman was hospitalized with a stomach wound, but expected to survive, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess told Pasadena Now. She was not believed the intended target of the shooting.
Another woman in her 20s was pistol-whipped and hospitalized for treatment of serious head injuries, Burgess said.

Police were looking for three men who fled the scene, in a white car and a red car, he told Pasadena Now.
Police were also working to find out who organized the party, Ortiz said.
