The suspect has been identified as a 50-year-old Santa Rosa woman.

PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police have arrested a Santa Rosa woman on suspicion of stealing five wallets at two weddings in Petaluma and using the credit cards for fraudulent purchases. The thefts occurred on Dec. 30 at the St. Vincent de Paul Church and on Jan. 6 at the Calvary Chapel of Petaluma. The victims in the Jan. 6 theft were bridesmaids who left their purses in the bride's room at the Calvary Chapel at 1955 S. McDowell Blvd., police said.
The victims contacted their credit card companies and learned the credit cards were used to make $1,100 in fraudulent purchases at businesses in Petaluma and Santa Rosa, police said.
Police posted a photo of the suspect when she purchased a SMART train ticket with a victim's debit card, Lt. Tim Lyons said.
