Back To School: Petaluma 2023-2024 School Calendars

PETALUMA, CA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Petaluma, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Petaluma City Schools, Old Adobe Union School District, Liberty School District and Waugh School District.

The first day of school for most students in Petaluma is Wednesday, Aug. 16.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know:

Petaluma City Schools

First Day: Wednesday, Aug. 16
Fall Break: Nov. 20-24
Winter Break: Dec. 22-Jan. 5 (Return to school Tuesday, Jan. 9)
Spring Break: April 8-12
Last Day: Friday, June 7

First Day: Wednesday, Aug. 16
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 20-24
