PETALUMA, CA — Get your pedals up and your lights on for the Petaluma Lighted Bike Parade.
The free, family-friendly 5.4-mile community bike ride is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19, through west Petaluma neighborhoods.
The ride begins and end at McNear Park, 11th and F streets. Arrive by 5 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. start and bring bike lights, helmets, and bells.

Petaluma Police said the event is the only authorized Lighted Bike Parade in the town and the only one with dedicated police staffing overseeing traffic control.
Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time on nearby roads during the event.
