Two men driving at 68 mph in a 30-mph zone Sunday morning during a street race stopped by police: PPD

PETALUMA, CA — Police ended a Sunday morning would-be street race on Lakeville Highway.

Petaluma Police said two cars were traveling at 68 mph, twice the 30-mph zone.

Police stopped and cited one of the drivers, Christian Hernandez, 21, of Petaluma, for "engaging in a speed contest and speeding," according to the Petaluma Police Department.
