DUI Driver Crashes Into Parked Car In Petaluma, Police Say
A Petaluma police officer reportedly witnessed the crash and arrested the driver, a 24-year-old Novato man. (Breaking)

PETALUMA, CA — A Novato man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after the vehicle he was allegedly driving crashed into a parked vehicle early Sunday morning in Petaluma, police said.
At 2:33 a.m., an officer on patrol in the area of Payran Street and Rio Vista Way saw a moving vehicle hit a parked vehicle. Police said the officer went to talk with the occupants of the moving vehicle and found three people inside but no one in the driver's seat.
Two of the occupants identified Marco Dzulitza, 24, as the driver. Police said Dzulitza appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Police allege Dzulitza refused to perform sobriety tests. Because he was identified as the driver and because he appeared to be intoxicated, police arrested him on suspicion of DUI.

Police allege that later his blood-alcohol content was found to be 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.
Dzulitza was found to have a suspended license from a previous DUI conviction. He was taken to the county jail.
