Fire Damages Petaluma Apartment Saturday

The blaze caused an estimated $65,000 in damage.

PETALUMA, CA — A two-alarm fire damaged an apartment building in Petaluma Saturday evening, according to fire officials. The fire was reported at about 5 p.m. at 420 G St.

Fire crews responded and found smoke and fire coming from a unit on the first floor of the two-story apartment building. Flames spread to adjacent units, prompting the upgrading to a second alarm, fire officials
said.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which caused an estimated $65,000 in damage.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
