Marin County Business Makes Oprah's Favorite Things List For 2023

POINT REYES STATION, CA — The holidays are especially merry and bright for one Marin County business that was named among Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2023.

Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co. made the list with its Celebration Collection, specifically curated for Oprah Winfrey herself. Winfrey's favorite things selections have been an established part of her brand for years, dating back to her iconic talk show.

“It’s true that you could bring all the handcrafted, award-winning cheeses from this women-owned family farm to a holiday event,” Oprah Daily said of the cheese pack, priced at $95. “But trust me when I say you might want to save the TomaTruffle for a grilled cheese.”

The collection features six cheeses such as Bay Blue and Quinta Wheel as well as pecan biscuits and raspberry jalapeño jam, both from women-owned companies, plus a cheese knife.

“Each cheese is unique in flavor and will elevate any holiday table whether you are sending this as a gift or bringing it into your own home,” according to the Point Reyes Farmstead website.

The artisan cheese company is run by the Giacomini sisters, who built their business on a century-old legacy of family farming in California.
