Petaluma Police Seek Domestic Violence Suspect on Warrant

Nicklaus Ryan Krinaich, age 37, also used a bicycle to smash a friend's car repeatedly in the 400 block of 6th Street, a felony.

PETALUMA-The Petaluma Police Department is looking for a suspect on probation for domestic violence who recently committed an act of vandalism against a friend of the victim.

Detectives hold two active arrest warrants for Nicklaus Ryan Krinaich, age 37, from Petaluma. The first warrant is for $50,000 for the vandalism, the other is a “no bail” warrant for violation of his domestic violence probation. Krinaich is currently on felony probation for a domestic violence incident that occurred in July of 2015.

Police say the vandalism occurred on December 19 when a witness saw Krinaich committing an act of felony vandalism against a female friend of the victim from the July domestic violence incident.

Krinaich used a bicycle to smash the friend’s car repeatedly in the 400 block of 6th Street. Krnaich then fled the area.

Krnaich knows he is wanted and has a history of fleeing from the police; he has recently fled from both Petaluma PD officers and SFPD officers attempting to arrest him. Efforts to locate and arrest him continue.
