PETALUMA, CA — Is the Petaluma Police Department training to compete in motocross at the Olympics?
"Well, the bad news is we’re not going to the Olympics, but the good news is that members from our Dual Purpose motors team have been out conducting extra patrols along the Trestle Bridge and Lynch Creek trails," Petaluma police said on social media.
"Whether it’s at home, on the road, or out for a walk, we all deserve to feel safe in our community. Our specialized teams are highly trained to handle a variety of terrain, conditions, and most importantly — people!"
