Police Searching For Information On Attempted Kidnapping
The Petaluma Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call Officer Ryan McGreevy at 707-778-4372.

A Petaluma police officer foiled an attempted kidnapping Saturday, when he heard screams, responded, and scared away the perp.
The officer was patroling just after 2:16am when he heard a woman yelling at the intersection of Water and East Washington streets.
The 23-year-old woman said a man approached her and asked him to come with him. When she said no, he grabbed her around the neck, pulling her to the ground. She fought the suspect and he fled.

Police searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, wearing a black shirt and jeans.
