A Bird Caused A Power Outage To 17,000 Customers In Petaluma

The outage happened at 10:53 a.m.

PETALUMA, CA -- A power outage caused by a bird affected more than 17,670 customers Sunday in Petaluma. PG&E reported the outage at 10:53 a.m.

A spokeswoman said the outage happened when a bird made contact with PG&E equipment.

The water department in Petaluma is asking residents to limit or stop using water, if possible, until power is restored.
