Recognize This Guy? He's Wanted for Credit Card Fraud
Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a wallet out of a woman's purse and then tried to use the victim's credit card.

BAY AREA, CA -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly snagged a woman's purse and later tried to use her stolen credit card.
At about 2:45 pm on Thursday, Feb. 9, a wallet was stolen out of the victim’s purse by the suspect while they were both shopping at a local grocery store, police say. Shortly after the theft, the suspect was seen trying to use a stolen credit card belonging to the victim to make a purchase at Target in Petaluma.
The suspect, who was captured on video surveillance footage, is described as a black male adult wearing a black hat, black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. A still shot from the surveillance video can be seen above.

Police also say the suspect could be associated with a white Ford sedan.
The Petaluma Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call Community Service Officer K. Mota at (707) 781-1243 and reference case number 17-0735.
