School Closures In Sonoma County Monday Due To Storm
Multiple schools and several entire school districts have cancelled all classes on Monday. See the 6:30 a.m. expanded list.
SONOMA COUNTY — Power outages, downed trees, and dangerous road conditions convinced several school districts in Sonoma County to cancel classes on Monday to keep children and staff safe.
In addition, Fort Ross Elementary School reports damage from a fallen tree.
The following closures were announced by 8:30 p.m. Sunday:
- Bennett Valley Union District — All schools closed
- Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified — Credo High School closed
- Dunham School District — All schools closed
- Forestville Union — All schools closed
- Fort Ross Elementary District — Fort Ross Elementary School closed
- Guerneville District — All schools closed
- Harmony Union District — Harmony Elementary School, Salmon Creek Charter School closed
- Horicon District — All schools closed
- Kashia District — All schools closed
- Mark West Union — All schools closed
- Monte Rio Union — All schools closed
- Montgomery Elementary District — Montgomery Elementary School closed
- Santa Rosa City Elementary District — Hidden Valley School closed
- Sebastopol Union District — Brook Haven School, Park Side School closed
- Sonoma Valley Unified District — El Verano School closed
- Twin Hills Union District — Apple Blossom School, Orchard View School, Twin Hills Charter Middle School are all closed; SunRidge Charter plans to be open
- Two Rock Union District — All schools closed
- West Sonoma County High — All schools closed
- Wright District — All schools closed
