Sonoma Lavender Co. Product Among 'Oprah's Favorite Things 2021'

Oprah describes Sonoma Lavender Co.'s Scented Stuffed Animals as a "soothing snuggle buddy that's great for the young and not-so-young."

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Its products are known and loved by many in Sonoma County and afar, and now by Oprah Winfrey, too.

A product by Sonoma Lavender Co. made it onto Oprah's Favorite Things for 2021.

The Santa Rosa-based company's Scented Stuffed Animals, which retail for $35.95-$39.95, earned a coveted spot on the popular list.

Freddy the Frog, Kalee the Koala or Spunky the Monkey are stuffed with eucalyptus or lavender for convenient "microwaveable aromatherapy."

"Each of these scented stuffed animals has a removable pouch filled with either lavender (harvested from a farm in Sonoma Valley) or eucalyptus. Pop the pouch in the microwave for a few seconds, place it into the stuffed animal, and—voilà!—a soothing snuggle buddy that’s great for the young and not-so-young."

Orders for the product have increased tenfold since Oprah's list was released, Sonoma Lavender Co. owner Scott Maddock told The Press Democrat.

"It's a wonderful a honor to be part of the program and be acknowledged."
