Lagunitas Brewing Co, 1280 N McDowell Blvd.: The patio at Lagunitas is communal seating and features live music on the weekends. It's also kid and dog friendly. 

Ray's Deli and Tavern, 900 Western Ave.: The outdoor seating is available out in front of the deli, perfect for people watching. 

Fourth and Sea Fish & Chips, 101 4th St.: Although it lacks shade in some spots, the patio is a nice feature for a summertime dinner, according to reviewers. 
Willowbrook Ale House, 3600 Petaluma Blvd N: The patio at this ale house has a firepit and an outdoor game called Ladder Ball, according to Yelp reviews. 
Water Street Bistro, 100 Petaluma Blvd N: One Yelper shared her No. 1 tip for dining at this restaurant is to take advantage of the patio. "TIP #1: On sunny mornings, be sure to sit out on the small patio to see the sparkling water and cute dogs," she wrote.
