The Votes Have Been Tallied: Petaluma Schools Measure I Parcel Tax Results

Petaluma voters were asked to consider Measure I, to help fund junior and high schools. The votes have been tallied.

PETALUMA, CA — While all eyes have been on Prop. 50 — the only measure on the ballot for most Sonoma County residents — voters in the Petaluma's city schools district were asked to consider Measure I, a parcel tax, a $129-per-year parcel tax to help fund junior and high schools.

The measure needed two-thirds approval to pass.

The outcome was still uncertain Tuesday night.
