Assistance League’s Western Event Ropes ‘em In!

The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League Thrift Shop, located next to the Park Theater in Lafayette, are saddling up for the Western Event scheduled to begin Tuesday, April 29, at 10. You might want to get there earlier to claim some elbowroom.
Find your wardrobe needs for upcoming Country and Western Events scheduled in the Bay Area and the Wine Country in the approaching months. This year’s inventory boasts shoes, boots, hats, shirts, pants, jackets, purses and belts. And there’s more: find wall art, decorator items as well as a western saddle, the last of which was donated by a chapter member. The prices range from dirt cheap $1 to $60.
The following week, starting Tuesday, May 6, any remaining western items will be reduced in price by 50%. If you work it right, you can save money twice. Speaking of money, thank you for your thrift shop donations and purchases, which fund 15 hands-on programs that serve the community.
