Burglar Armed with Rock Breaks into Grand Avenue Home
The daytime break-in netted jewelry and electronics.
A burglar used a rock to smash glass panes on outer and inner front doors of a Grand Avenue home this week, Piedmont police said.
Capt. Scott Wyatt said the burglar broke the glass and gained entry to the home during daylight hours — between 8 am. and 3:35 p.m. — on Monday, Nov. 4.
Jewelry and electronics were stolen from the home, he said.
