• Police Department lobby re-opens Dec. 22 (piedmontexedra.com) — Piedmont residents will regain 24/7 access to the Police Department lobby starting Monday, Dec. 22, as the city unveils its upgraded 9-1-1 dispatch center. The $3.1 million project modernizes power, backup systems, and dispatcher workspace to keep emergency services running reliably during outages and major incidents.
   

• Piedmont shuts out Oakland Tech, 4-0 (piedmontexedra.com) — Piedmont High’s girls soccer team, led by a hat trick from Miranda Liu, blanked Oakland Tech 4-0 at Witter Field on Dec. 17.
