Children's Choir to Hold Auditions Feb. 2

The Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir will hold auditions for boys and girls ages 4 and up on Saturday, Feb. 2, between 9:15 and 11:30 a.m. by appointment. Auditions will be held at the Piedmont Veterans Memorial Building, 401 Highland Ave.

Children with no experience are encouraged to apply. The evaluation is described as "very kid-friendly."

Led by award-winning Artistic Director Robert Geary, the Children's Choir program of vocal training and music education for ages 4 to 18 has 12 different choirs, ranging from kinder levels through a progressive sequence of training choirs. More advanced groups have won international awards and regularly collaborate with orchestras and opera companies. 

Rehearsals are held weekly after school in Piedmont.
