Memorial Service Draws Oakland Police to Piedmont

A number of Oakland Police Department patrol cars seen near Highland Avenue midday on Thursday were driven there by officers attending a memorial service at the Community Hall in Piedmont Park, according to Piedmont police.
The service was for a former Oakland police officer, a Piedmont Police Department spokesperson said.
