• City Council approves LOU with Oakland for library services (piedmontexedra.com) — Piedmont is moving ahead with a new agreement to keep residents’ access to Oakland’s public libraries, with the City Council authorizing a $360,985 payment for library services through FY 2026-28. The deal continues a decades-long partnership, reflecting Piedmont’s choice to fund regional library access rather than operate its own municipal library.
