• Learn about Modern Art at Piedmont Adult School (piedmontexedra.com) — Piedmont residents can sign up now for a two-night “Understanding Modern Art” class at Piedmont Adult School, running January 12 and 14, 2026, from 7–9 p.m. Taught by veteran artist and professor Robert Simons, the course introduces key modern art movements and vocabulary in an accessible, discussion-friendly format for both beginners and seasoned museum-goers.
