Piedmont Man Will Chair Heart Association Fundraiser
Andrew Ball has been named chair of the "Celebrate with Heart" winter gala.

The American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association are pleased to announce that Andrew Ball has accepted the position of Chairman of San Francisco’s Celebrate with Heart gala.
Ball, President and General Manager of Suffolk Construction’s West Region, is on the boards of several agencies and organizations including the Bay Area Council, where he was appointed to the California Water Commission by the Governor.
In addition, he has several philanthropic honors including the “Spirit of Life” Award from the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute and Ernest & Young’s “Master Entrepreneur of the Year” for Northern California.
“Andy brings a commitment to health and fitness that is perfectly aligned with the American Heart Association’s mission. A recognized leader in the California construction industry, Andy will continue to build upon the gala’s strong foundation, while recruiting new leadership members and high-level sponsors,” says Michael Covarrubias, San Francisco AHA board member and Principal at TMG Partners.
Ball’s longstanding dedication to community service is clearly evident and the American Heart Association is honored to have Ball’s charitable leadership skills to further our mission and generate funds to exceed our $1.3 million goal. The Celebrate with Heart Gala will be held on Thursday, February 27th at the Four Seasons-San Francisco.
