Line Started Early for Alameda Target's First Thanksgiving Sale

The line was seven people deep seven hours before Alameda's new Target opened its doors at 8 p.m. for an early Black Friday, or a late Gray Thursday (the holiday formerly known as Thanksgiving).

The earliest bargain seekers arrived at 4 a.m., lured by the prospect of snagging a 50-inch television for $229.
