For the eighth consecutive fiscal year, the City of Pinole has received the Excellence in Budgeting Award from the California Society of Municipal Finance (CSMFO) for its Fiscal Year 2021/22 Operating Budget. The award represents a significant achievement by the City. It reflects the City’s commitment to meeting the highest principles of government budgeting. To receive the award, the City had to satisfy CSMFO criteria for effective budget presentation.
