Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for the police and the community members to come together in an informal, neutral environment to discuss community issues and build relationships. One of the keys to Coffee with a Cop's success is that it removes the physical barriers between officers and residents, and happens outside of the crisis situations that routinely define interactions between law enforcement officials and community members. Instead it allows for relaxed, informal one-on-one interactions in a friendly atmosphere.

Coffee with a Cop will be held once a month at locations throughout the City of Pinole on the second Wednesday of the month.

In April, Coffee with a Cop will be held at East Bay Coffee, 2529 San Pablo Avenue.
