Report: Mercedes Blocked Lane, Cars Honked, Woman Got Punched in Face
The suspect left the area, according to police. The investigation is continuing.

A physical fight at the corner of Sycamore and San Pablo Avenues started with a confrontation between two drivers, according to the Hercules Police Department.
The reporting party called police from the parking lot of the nearby Shell gas station. Hercules police shared the following:

She stated she was stopped for a red light at Sycamore Ave [at] San Pablo Ave. when a white Mercedes SUV tried to merge into her lane. The Mercedes reportedly blocked traffic and other vehicles began honking at it. The reporting party said the driver of the Mercedes thought she was the one honking and approached the reporting party’s driver’s side window on foot. The suspect punched the reporting party in the face one time. The reporting party said she defended herself by hitting the suspect in the face. The suspect fled the area. The investigation is continuing.
