Hercules Police responded to a report of an assault near a cross-fit training facility Thursday night. The call   The reporting party said he was driving near the 600 block of Alfred Noble in a friend's vehicle around 5:45 p.m. "The vehicle was stopped and surrounded by four motorcycles," according to the police report. "The apparent leader of the group was known to the victim as his friend's husband. The suspect challenged the reporting party to fight. When the reporting party refused the suspect attempted to hit the victim in the face, but missed."   According to the police shift log, the group left when witnesses from the training facility came out to see what was going on.
