• Reno parents identified as couple killed in crash near Placerville (rgj.com) — A Reno couple was killed and their two children seriously injured in a Dec. 7 single-vehicle crash on Highway 50 near Placerville, in Kyburz. Authorities say it took hours to free the children, who remain hospitalized in Reno, while the community and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District mourn the loss of Battalion Chief Ryan Rizzuto and his wife, Danielle.
