9 People Broke Into Stoneridge Shopping Center Before Dawn
They didn't steal anything, but were able to break into a sliding door in the early hours of Monday morning.

PLEASANTON, CA — Nine people are on the loose after breaking into Stoneridge Shopping Center before dawn Monday, police said.
They did not leave with any merchandise.
Nine unidentifiable people were seen on video surveillance cameras breaking into the mall entrance near the Men's Warehouse store around 1:20 a.m. Monday, said Pleasanton Police Department Sgt. Marty Billdt in an email.

They pushed the door off of its sliding track then ran toward a jewelry store. The people left less than two minutes after entering the mall once they saw metal security gates protecting the jewelry store, he said.
No other damage was reported.

Billdt said it was unclear if this incident was related to others in the Bay Area over the weekend.
