PLEASANTON, CA — A new bistro serving up ceviche and crepes opened in downtown Pleasanton.

Bocado: Un Petit Bistro sits at 320 St. Mary's St., the former site of Mum Mum Boba Ice Cream & Snacks, which announced its closure in January after struggling to pay rent due to a pandemic-fueled drop in business.

Bocado bills itself as a "modern American casual bistro ... with exciting flavors inspired by a variety of cuisines from around the world."

Its menu includes a dozen sweet and savory crepes, including fusion fare such as Thai crepes with red curry and Hawaiana crepes with ham and pineapple.

The menu boasts four kinds of ceviche made with shrimp, ahi tuna and a vegan cauliflower device, plus salads, paninis and sandwiches.

Bocado offers a range of coffee and espresso drinks.
