Downtown Pleasanton Kicks Off Holiday Events This Weekend

From Small Business Saturday to the Spirit & Sweater Stroll, downtown Pleasanton businesses will celebrate the season with events soon.

PLEASANTON, CA — Downtown Pleasanton businesses have special events in the works, beginning this weekend, to celebrate the holiday shopping season.

Commemorative Pleasanton totes will be available this weekend for Small Business Saturday as part of the Pleasanton Downtown Association's "Shop Small - Support Local" campaign in partnership with the city.

Proceeds from commemorative mugs purchased at Clover Creek and Towne Center Book will be reinvested back into downtown Pleasanton, according to the association.

Participating businesses including retailers, restaurants, salons and fitness centers will mark the occasion with special details and offers.

On Wednesday, a limited number of tickets go on sale for another Pleasanton Downtown Association event: Spirit & Sweater Stroll.

Grab your ugly holiday sweater and sip on a craft cocktail at more than a dozen participating downtown locations from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11, according to the association.
