Equipment Problem On BART Tracks Causing Delays Into Tri-Valley

PLEASANTON, CA — An equipment problem on BART tracks near the Bay Fair Station is causing major delays Friday morning, according to BART officials. The delays are affecting passengers traveling in the Dublin/Pleasanton, Warm Springs, Richmond and Daly City directions.

AC Transit is providing a bus bridge between San Leandro, Bay Fair and Hayward.

BART officials announced the problem at about 10:30 a.m. and did not give an estimated time for the resumption of normal service.
