Forward Progress Stopped On 3-Acre Sunol Grass Fire: Watch Duty
A grass fire broke out in Sunol along streets just north of Vallecitos Road, threatening one structure.
PLEASANTON, CA — Forward progress has been stopped on the Hubbard Fire, a three-acre fire is burning on the 3300 block of Little Valley Road in Sunol, east of I-680 and north of Vallecitos Road, according to the Watch Duty app.
The fire first broke out around 4:22 p.m. Thursday, according to a report from the Watch Duty app. As of 4:34 p.m., it was moving slowly, with one structure threatened, a unit at the scene told Watch Duty. There is no word as of 4:53 p.m. of evacuations. Satellite photos show one house across the street from where the fire is burning.
Forward progress was stopped as of 4:56 p.m., per Incident Command. All incoming resources have been canceled.
