“Freedom-Aid Kits:” East Bay Seniors Rally For Ukraine
Residents at Creekview Health Center put together donation kits Friday.

PLEASANTON, CA — East Bay seniors stood in solidarity with Ukrainians Friday morning.
Residents of the Creekview Health Center in Pleasanton, dressed in yellow and blue, worked together to create what the center called “freedom-aid kits”
The kits include different first-aid items. 20 to 25 seniors and about 25 staff members will assemble nearly 200 kits to send to Ukraine.

There was also an oversized card for people to sign with their well wishes.
“We want to extend messages of hope and solidarity to Ukrainians of all ages,” the center said.
